De Bruyn’s Transport has integrated a set of values into all aspects of its business. To maintain our market position and to fulfil our mission statement it is critical that each member of the team works on demonstrating each of the company’s values in everything they do every day.
What we do
We are TruckSafe Accredited as well as National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme accredited for both Mass and Basic Fatigue Management.
We conduct medicals per TruckSafe and Australian Fitness to Drive Standard requirements and this includes building in fitness for duty elements.
Concerning training, De Bruyn’s has invested heavily in upskilling its workforce over the past two years. Our aim is for all driving and yard personnel to have a minimum of a Certificate III qualification in either Driving Operations or Logistics.
De Bruyn’s recruitment centres on the use of sound employment documentation including detailed job descriptions. All new personnel undertake a detailed induction program that is geared towards the role that they will undertake. We make use of equipment inductions, buddy programs and even driving assessments as required to provide our employees with the tools they need to ‘Safely Deliver the Goods'.
