De Bruyn’s Transport has integrated a set of values into all aspects of its business. To maintain our market position and fulfil our mission statement, each team member must demonstrate each of the company’s values in everything they do every day.
What we do
We are TruckSafe Accredited, and the National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme accredited for both Mass and Basic Fatigue Management.
We conduct medicals per TruckSafe and Australian Fitness to Drive Standard requirements, including building in fitness for duty elements.
De Bruyn’s continues to invest heavily in upskilling its workforce over the past two years. We aim for all driving and yard personnel to have a minimum Certificate III qualification in either Driving Operations or Logistics.
De Bruyn’s recruitment centers on using proper employment documentation, including phased job descriptions. All new personnel undertakes a detailed induction program that is geared towards the role that they will undertake. This program focuses on the learner experience whilst delivering 21st-century learning outcomes. We make use of equipment inductions, Driver coaching, and assessments to provide our employees with the tools and confidence
to provide our employees with the tools, they need to ‘Safely Deliver the Goods'.
